Beyond curbside
As we transition towards a circular buying process, there’s bound to be some lingering items in our households. Jax Zero is here to help prevent some of these from ending up in the landfill. We’re using TerraCycle programs to recycle items not usually taken by our curbside system.
How It Works
Click on any of the categories listed below to review the accepted waste for that program on TerraCycle’s page.
On the day of your Jax Zero pickup, place the items on your porch with your Jax Zero returns.
When we bring your new order, we’ll retrieve your TerraCycle items and take care of the rest!
To help us accommodate everyone during our delivery route, please limit quantities. All items should be clean and dry.
Programs are subject to change. Please check back often.
Recycling of these products will result in TerraCycle points. These points will be donated to organizations that promote environmental research and appreciation.
The Wands for Wildlife® organization is inspiring people around the world to help wild animals and the environment through the re-purposing of discarded mascara wands.
Why mascara wands?
The wands are shared with wildlife rehabilitators to use in their work to save injured and orphaned wild animals. They use the wands in many ways including removing fly eggs and larva from the fur and feathers of wild animals. They work great because the bristles are close together. Wands are also recycled through the Wand Art program, a creative initiative to engage youth and artist with the mission to help the wild ones.
